It felt very special to stay here. The women were exceptionally nice and helpful, calling for us to check farmacia hours, and making a lovely breakfast in the morning. Our room overlook the river and was very, very comfy. It had a big bathtub and we both had a long soak. We highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful rural location right in the Camino. The triple room was big and had comfortable beds. The yard was a lovely place to sit and relax. The owners were incredibly kind and fun people, they cooked a lovely meal and we had a wonderful time talking and eating with the owners and other pilgrims that were there. Great experience, wonderful people.

Very comfortable and super clean! The couch was made as a bed for our daughter. Yummy muffins and coffee for breakfast. Huge terrace! Nice assortment of brochures/ local information and recommendations. Very residential area, enjoyed dining out with locals rather than tourists. Can walk downtown and to Camino de Santiago.

It's a nice town with slightly different vibe to the others on the Camino, quite chilled and relaxed. Probably a good place for a rest day as the trails beforehand leave you quite dirty (in poor weather). Probably lots of history here also but didn't get time to explore. I ate at the Camino Portuguese which is a cafe bar/diner. There was fine dining in the town but that doesn always sit well with hiking the next day. Easy to get around on foot, better with a bike.

Padron is a small and charming town with real character.
Padron is a small and charming town with real character. The tree lined strip by the river is gorgeous, there are beautiful old churches and best of all, a decent selection of very very good restaurants. I stayed as part of the Camino and it was one of my favourite stops. There is a really nice buzz yet relaxed feel to the place.

My partner and I were just passing through on our way along the Camino so only stayed the night. There were certain restaurants like Pulperia Rial that were incredible and hospitality in local bars was fab but it’s not really a place you’d visit unless you were passing through!

Arrived on a Sunday so market day.
Arrived on a Sunday so market day. It’s the home of the Padrón pepper! Also there was a medieval celebration on the day so town was buzzing (surrounding roads and car parks were crazy) . Perfect location for the Camino De Santiago - Albergue Rossol was ideally situated.
For those of us walking El Camino de Santiago, the hotel is in a somewhat remote location past Padron, so we're kind of stuck there for dinner options. Bed was not that comfortable but room was otherwise ok. Dinner not great. Would advise against the Russian salad. We left early the next morning to get a head start into Santiago, before any staff were at reception, so didn't eat the breakfast; later heard from other pilgrims that we made the right choice.
We stayed here one night. The Albergue was very clean. Raul, our host, was very nice and informative. We booked a private room and it was spacious and very comfortable. There is a coin-operated washer and dryer. There is a kitchen area. Vending machine. The place is super clean. The location is excellent. Raul gave us recommendations for places to eat. There are some nice sights to explore as well in Padron.
The place was a beautiful retreat after a long day of walking the camino. Its location outside of the town of Padron meant a few kilometers advanced of the route. The room was clean and spacious with a big comfortable bed. The common areas were clean and provided more than the necessities. The hosts were also very attentive and instructions were all clear and straightforward.
Very good location in Padron, a beautiful town on the Camino trail. The place was clean and warm. Clean, spacious bathroom. Quick access to outstanding restaurants. Overall a very comfortable apartment.
Excellent communication from the host where to retrieve the keys. A washing machine was a great help for tired Camino walkers.
Very clean and comfortable bed.
We hang our clothes in the garden and relaxed there, it was perfect after long Camino walk, not too far from Padron town center.
Host Santi was very nice and communicate very well. He even helped us to make a restaurant reservation for the next day in Santiago where usually no reservation taken.
Camino d'Encanto provided us with a basic but clean room at the heart of Padron. It was easy to access the town centre (just across the bridge) and also the Camino de Santiago. It's ideal if you want a no-frills place to stay. We didn't use them, but there were some basic cooking facilities, as well as laundry/tumble drier.
Lovely yet out of the way for Camino travelers. If you are on the Camino you have a long walk to the hotel and a long walk back to catch the Camino the next day. It is really a beautiful compound. Rooms are a little outdated but comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was fantastic, order off the regular menu!!
The breakfast was good, although the melon was past its prime. The coffee was the best part and the server was excellent.
The owner drove us to a restaurant/hotel that they own which was lovely (but pricier than expected). The drive was longer than expected so we didn't return to the Casa until late.
The apartment is so cute and cozy. Literally next to Padron city centre. It’s very well equipped and there is also a washing machine, very useful if you are doing the Camino de Santiago. The host is very kind and helpful.
By far my best stay during the Camino
Nice spacious apartment in Padron with a good location and only steps from the Camino de Santiago. Relaxing and pleasant stay. Would recommend to pilgrims on the Camino or anyone who is staying in Padron.
spacious, quiet, dinner with pilgrims was a wonderful opportunity to connect on the last night on the Camiño. Located on the Camiño trail, about an hour walk north of Padrón center.
We liked the location because it was close to the downtown area of Padron. It was clean and had wonderful, super helpful staff. The bathroom was very clean and nicely renovated.
Ernesto was a great host and the property is near the town centre. It is affiliated with a hotel that has a pool which we used. Very nice after a long days walk.
A beautiful place just outside Padrón, ideal to spend the last days of your caminho! Have your wine next to the fireplace and socialize with other pilgrims.
Scala is a big hotel right on the camino portugues. It offers all services, snack bar cafeteria/dinner/substantial breakfast. Excellent value for money.
